The restaurant had an amazing tasting menu, yet the room was pretty dirty.

The breathtaking views of the aurora borealis mesmerized me.
During my stay, I found the dining options extremely limited, with only one pricey restaurant available that wasn't clearly advertised before arrival. The shared jacuzzi situation felt misleading since I was expecting a private amenity for the Executive Suite but faced dirty conditions and extremes of crowds. the overall lack of communication regarding activities and amenities left me feeling disappointed and underwhelmed.

Consider renting a car for better mobility, as local taxis are expensive and limited. This allows you to explore the beautiful surroundings more freely.

missingWrote a review on 04 Aprstunning viewsmodern touchlimited dining
The Aurora Borealis Observatory dazzled with stunning views of the northern lights. Such a beautiful place to stay! I saw the lights two nights out of four, which was thrilling. The breakfast was tasty, especially the selection offered. The room had a modern touch and was quite comfortable for relaxation. getting there was tricky. the observatory lies far from town, and the taxi was a hefty £60 one way. The dining options were quite limited as well. if we didn't enjoy the set tasting menu, our only other option was a long taxi ride. Transparency about this info would have been appreciated before arrival. Unfortunately, some advertised activities were unavailable during my stay, leaving me wanting more options. Staff interactions at the restaurant were great, but service from one member at the reception fell short and was disappointing. This place shines for its views and unique ambiance, yet clearer communication about logistics would really enhance the experience.

The breathtaking views from the living room and bedroom were unforgettable, especially during the northern lights display. The wine tasting menu was exceptional, elevating our dining experience significantly. the king suite lacked essential amenities like bedside tables and toiletries, making it feel more basic than promised. the long walk through the snow to the restaurant was inconvenient in harsh weather, and we found the thin towels a bit disappointing.

great view , but some room for improvement
I liked our Top Corner Suite- The View with large windows showcasing a stunning woodland view. The reception and restaurant area had a nice atmosphere, providing a cozy spot to relax after exploring. I particularly appreciated the city's proximity, making it easy to access various attractions and enjoy local sights.
The room could have been cleaner.
